Early Anniversary gift!

I have been researching for weeks for PERFECT indoor spin cycle. The issue was the PRICE!! Did I want to have something the best of the best, or did I want to see how much I like spinning and buy something less expensive but a good, solid bike?? Well, of course I chose the later. I couldn't justify the about $2700 (with all expenses: bike, some accessories, delivery, and monthly access) to Peloton, but I wanted the community.

I was at first just checking out many different types, but instead of bore you with the details, since you can write me if you want to ask about what I didn't choose, but I went with the Schwinn IC3. It is a good, solid bike, but pretty cheap/inexpensive in the spinning world. Only $499 most places, but I was able to go to a local Play it Again Sports, sell/trade some of my sport stuff that I am not using and pay just for about $450!!

I have used it just for a few days and I have to say I am hooked. I have it with the Peloton app on my phone and tablet so I can still have that Peloton experience and community, just without some of the numbers involved and leader board. It does take some getting used to. I have done pretty much everything in the fitness arena, but never spinning. This is a whole different world, but I needed something to make things more exciting for my over 40 year old body. I think my Schwinn and I will be very happy and so thankful to my husband!!
